“All businesses can be likened to a tree – they have the same basic parts and the same basic needs.”
– Denise Williams

We all want our businesses to be strong and to have steady growth. Just as a tree that starts from a seed and needs soil for nutrients, roots to feed it, a trunk for stability, and leaves to keep it growing – so will your business.

All successful businesses start with an idea. This idea will need a business plan, internal structures, a customer base and cash flow.

The first thing you need to do when planting seeds is to carefully choose the correct type of seed according to the  type of tree you want to have.  Just as you would pick a tree, you pick the type of business you want – a business that would fit into your life, not your life into your business.

Once you have picked your seed, you need to plant it where it will grow, where it has the proper nutrients to flourish – in other words a business plan.  This plan has ongoing needs and requires tweaking as your business starts to grow.

The internal structures of your business are comparable to the roots of the tree.  The four main roots for a successful business are:  Advisory Team, Finances, Systems, and Marketing.  All of these roots feed your business with different, but necessary, nutrients.

We know that a business is a living thing that needs constant attention.  We are committed to helping you with your growth.

Now you understand why we say “It’s more than just the numbers.”
